Chaos, Fractals and Symbols
“Fragments” is an eight piece series that explores the paradoxes of the human condition. The foundation being the idea of chaos and fractals the work echoes a nature vs. human nature theme. In eight stages of development, each a concept of our growth from being to afterward. The work utilizes various symbols and archetypes juxtaposed within the chaos, to create analogies and metaphors. The artist examines the many human physical, emotional and intellectual struggles in the context of universal themes. Each artwork is a mixed media collage on a 48" square oak substrate that incorporate found objects.
